One of the first things a person needs to start any type of business is a good source of raw materials. In the network marketing business raw materials are usually people to offer your opportunity or products to. We need a constant source of names, and email addresses to be able to request these people to join our business. The best place to start accumulating these name and email addresses is within our own circle of friends and family. Have you ever sat down and made a list of everyone you know? You'll be surprised to find out that the average person has 200 to 300 people within their memory of people they can think of their names of the top of their head. Using memory joggers like list of occupations, schools, jobs etc, will push up that list to over 500 people on the average.
Many of these people you may not know where they are, or how to contact them, but about 1/3 you will know at least their phone numbers.
This Future 100 list is a time tested way to start any type of sales opportunity. Simply, take a few uninterrupted hours with a pen and paper, and write down the entire list. When compiling your list, don't prejudge any person's ability to earn a Million-Dollars in your downline. Just write down everyone's name you can think of. Then, go back and do the research to come up with contacting information. Phone number are the best, but bonified email addresses work well, too.
Once you have compiled your list, simply take the time to contact each person on the list. Don't try to sell anyone. Just make a casual approach, and talk about what's been going on in your lives, since you last spoke with this person. Find a common ground to talk about.
After, chatting awhile, just say:
"I gotta get going, by the way, you have the internet, right? What's your email address? (Be prepared to write it down.)
I recently got this guy, trying to help me start to make a few extra dollars online by simply getting a few people to take a look at a company called SFI. When they show up in your downline report, be sure to send them an email to thank them, and ask them if they thought this would be a good plan to work for themselves. If they say NO. Thank them again, and ask them if they saw all the products, that SFI offered....send them YOUR SFI store link, and ask them to look around.
